Description

The Horsehead Nebula is a dark nebula in the constellation Orion. It is approximately 1500 light years from Earth. It is one of the most identifiable nebulae because of the shape of its swirling cloud of dark dust and gases, which bears some resemblance to a horse's head when viewed from Earth.

Telescope: Skywatcher Esprit 120 ED

Camera: ZWO ASI 1600MM

Filters: Astrodon Hydrogen-Alpha 5nm, Oxygen-III 5nm and Sulphur-II 5nm

Mount: Skywatcher AZ-EQ6

Guidescope: Orion 80mm OTA

Guider: ZWO ASI 290M
